Membership Information

The Wickford Yacht Club has a membership of young families, couples, singles, empty
nesters and a rich bank of seasoned members who serve and have served on
committees and on our board.

All of us have an interest in recreational boating, competitive racing and the
camaraderie of social events with new and life-time treasured friends.

We are member-operated, with everyone taking turns in monthly events, and the bi-
annual work weekends. In exchange, the Club provides a full calendar of cruising,
racing, social events, and a clubhouse that boasts unparalleled views of the
bay.

Reciprocal privileges through the Yachting Club of America is another perk.
 
Our partner, the non-profit Wickford Sailing Association, offers adult sailing
instruction and refresher courses as well as a sailing programs for children, from
beginners to juniors.

If, after receiving information , you are interested, you’ll be invited to a WYC event where
you’ll get a feel for our maritime heritage, congeniality spirit,and how we operate as a vibrant member operated club on Narragansett Bay.
